What’s on your mind right now? Are you just trying to get through what has been one of the most trying and tough years on record? That would be understandable given what we have all been through in 2020. Or…… are you planning how to make the remainder of this year and 2021 your best year ever? Or are you somewhere in between?
Admittedly it’s really hard to stay positive when the world is changing so dramatically and quickly in real time. We can hardly recognize our lives when we compare with just a year ago. So we are all trying to figure out where we fit in all of the change and, most importantly, how we respond. How are you responding?
I believe Earl is exactly right. It’s up to us to decide now how we respond… so what we become is what we want… instead of what we don’t want. I have a thing I do that helps. I spend just a little time every morning working on strengthening my mindset by focusing on my current primary goal and what I am grateful for. I find that my day gets off to a better start by having a better attitude and when the thoughts I have lead to a better attitude….. that leads to better activities…..which leads to better results.
Things will happen today and much of it we have no control over. What we do control is what lives in our head so… What do you want right now?…..and…. What are you most grateful for? Become what those positive thoughts bring into your life.
