Clean porches and walkways.

Buy a new welcome mat.

De-clutter by cleaning and clearing every room. Dust all surfaces. Most Sellers rent a storage unit or store things at a relative’s house.

Turn on all lights, open all blinds and curtains. More light means better photos.

Check every light and replace bulbs if needed. The LED 60 watt are bright, show well and last longer!

Remove everything on top and the front of fridge. This includes magnets, business cards, and photos.

Clear and clean the counters, showcase with flowers, plants, fresh fruit and nice dishes.

Hide dish soaps, sponges, and paper towels.

Set up kitchen or dining table with nice set of dishes. A bowl of fruit and / or bouquets of flowers present great on the photos.

Make the beds. Hide personal items. Close the closets doors.

Put down toilet seats.

Hide all toiletries that are on the counter or in the shower or bath.

Clean mirrors.

Remove old towels from doors, showers, and bathtubs and hang a new set of towels that coordinate with decor.

Turn off TV and Computer screens.

Hide remote controls, toys.

Eliminate bad odors. Hide the litter box and spray neutralizer throughout your home. When showing the home, fill it with inviting smells by putting out fresh flowers or baking a batch of cookies.
